Bang!

Hello, we're in the big, noisy, ball of pollution that's Bangkok, and we're loving it!

We spent the day following the first part of Wikitravel's One Day In Bangkok itinerary, which took us to Wat Rajanadda - home of the world's largest reclining buddah; and saw us cruising down the river Elo - local stylee. Then we ate a delicious curry, and hot-footed it back to Siam Square for some retail therapy. Bangkok's great for little independent shops. I found this great little place called Applique, where I bought some cute little iron-on-transfers for myself and my niece Beth. Perfect!

This is the part of your journey I envy the most - Asia. I always thought the sights and smells would be wonderful. The colorful buildings etc. I will be sharing with you both, your adventures through the wonder of the internet. Keep enjoying, and don't forget we all love you and miss you. Juby xx
